Living in Chicago is great. There are so many great restaurants and bars, I couldn’t try them all if I tried (which actually frustrates me because I do try). Sometimes, though, I want to get out and do something without ingesting calories and then the city has me racking my brain for ideas of what to do. It’s not that there isn’t a lot else here, but I feel like the culture is so centered around eating and drinking. It is fun, don’t get me wrong. A nice patio during the summertime is pretty much perfect to me. However, I tend to forget there is a gorgeous lake just a few blocks away that is begging to be taken advantage of. A nice day walking, biking, and running around is just what I needed this weekend – although the humidity was a little intense it still made for a wonderful evening.
